VISA Check-Mate Debit Card
"It's the card that acts like a check!" Our VISA Check-Mate Debit Card gives you all the services of an ATM card, plus the ability to make purchases at more than one million VISA merchants worldwide. The funds are deducted from your checking account. Though the VISA Check-Mate Debit Card is accepted just like a VISA credit card, there are no finance charges or annual fees associated with it. Customers who are registered for Online Banking can apply for a VISA Check-Mate Debit Card online by clicking on Secure Forms in the Main Menu after they log in to Online Banking.

ATM Servicard
This card gives you easy access to your NOW, Community Club, FREE, or Commercial Checking account or your statement savings account at any ATM. With it you can safely and conveniently make deposits, withdrawals, transfers, and balance inquiries. Best of all, there are no finance charges or annual fees with the First Federal Savings of Lorain Servicard. Customers who are registered for Online Banking can apply for an ATM Servicard online by clicking on Secure Forms in the Main Menu after they log in to Online Banking.

Direct Deposit/Automatic Withdrawal
Direct Deposit: Have your payroll, retirement, Social Security or other government checks directly deposited to your First Federal checking or saving account. Direct Deposit eliminates the worry of having your check lost in the mail or stolen and best of all it’s FREE.
Contact your check issuer to apply for Direct Deposit of your checks.
Automatic Withdrawal: For your convenience and security, we also offer Direct Withdrawal of your monthly bills from your First Federal Checking or Statement Savings account.
Some examples of payments which can be directly withdrawn from your account are: Electric, Gas, Water/Sewer, Telephone, Cable Television, Credit Card and Insurances. In most cases, a statement is sent to you about two weeks before the withdrawal is made, just in case any discrepancies need to be resolved.

Safe Deposit Boxes
The most secure place in your home may not be secure enough for your valuables. Loss, fire and burglary are just a few of the risks involved with keeping your valuables at home. First Federal Savings offers Safe Deposit Boxes at each of our branch offices for storage of your valuable items and records. Only you, and persons authorized by you, can gain access to the content of your safe deposit box. Available in many different sizes, an annual fee is assessed which varies depending on the size of box you rent. For sizes and prices, contact your nearest First Federal Savings of Lorain office.

For your convenience, First Federal offers American Express Travelers Checks. Don’t take a chance on ruining your vacation or business trip with lost or stolen cash! Available in traditional or dual-signature, American Express Travelers Checks give you peace of mind knowing that they are replaceable, usually within 24 hours, if lost or stolen. And, Traveler’s Checks are accepted worldwide.
American Express Travelers Checks are available for purchase at all First Federal Savings of Lorain offices. The following handling fees apply:
- 2% of the purchase price for traditional one-owner checks.
- 4% of the purchase price for two-owner checks (perfect for traveling families or couples).

American Express Gift Cards
The American Express gift card is a prepaid plastic spending card which is preloaded with funds. These cards are safer than cash and refundable if lost or stolen. These Gift Cards are accepted at most U.S. merchants and restaurants that accept the American Express credit card or American Express Cheques. Also, great gifts for holidays, birthdays, weddings or any occasion.
Denominations: Gift Cards are available in pre-loaded denominations of $25, $50, $100 and $500.
Fee: $3.95 per Gift Card.
American Express Travelers Cheque Cards
The American Express Travelers Cheque Card is a prepaid, re-loadable plastic spending card that isn.t linked to your bank account. And, just like Travelers Cheques, if it.s lost or stolen, your balance is replaced within 24 hours. The Travelers Cheque Card is accepted everywhere that welcomes American Express credit cards, including ATMs around the world (ATM fees apply).
